Family group accounting, business advisory, and the team leadership that holds the work together day to day.

Alex leads a team of accountants at Prime, with client work spanning family groups, growing businesses, and the advisory conversations that come up around them. The role sits at the intersection of technical accounting work and the day-to-day leadership that keeps a team delivering at a high standard.
Alex brings around eighteen years of experience to that work, nine of them at the Australian Taxation Office and nine at Prime. That time on both sides gives him a clear read on how the tax system actually works in practice, which is something clients feel in the quality of the advice they get. His client work tends to favour relationships that develop over years rather than transactions that resolve in weeks, the family groups and multi-entity businesses where trust is built slowly and kept through good work.
Outside of work, Alex is happiest spending time with his family, whether that is a day at the beach, exploring somewhere new, or finding any excuse for a family adventure. When he gets a moment to himself, you will find him watching soccer or the NRL, preferably with a result going his way, or out playing golf.
The accounting and advisory work that holds multi-generational families together. Entities, trusts, and the relationships that make them work in practice.
The full rhythm of accounting for established Australian businesses. Compliance handled cleanly, with the strategic context that turns it into something more than a deadline.
The conversations beyond the numbers. Where the business is going, what the structure should look like, and the calls that need to be made before they become urgent.
Years of work across these industries means Alex already understands the rhythm, the regulator, and the kinds of decisions that come up. The advice arrives already in context.
